Strawberry 100% OVA 01

Strawberry (Ichigo) 100% OVA 01

Please note that OVA's 01-04 will use AC3 audio as that is the only codec used for these episodes.

Also, Zalis put up a writeup on OVA 00.

Naruto Shippuuden Movie 3

Yes, Believe It (or not), a release of Naruto without hardsubs; poorly resized, incorrect aspect-ratio video; and downmuxed stereo mp3 sound at low bitrate!

Naruto Shippuuden Movie 3 - Hi no Ishi o Tsugu Mono - Inheritors of the Will of Fire

Dattebayo script, restyled with softsubbed karaoke.
Salendar-Raws Video/Audio.

I included 2 sets of subtitles, one which uses "Konoha" as most people are used to, and one which uses "Leaf" which is what DB used in the original script.

This is my first time k-timing, I think it came out fine.

This is the best raw I could find (I checked pretty much all of them). There were also no non-shrunk ISO's uploaded anywhere.

I really didn't know it was so hard to rip a movie at 720x464 =.=. Not one group ripped this movie correctly.

Salendar ripped at 848x464, so I just simply set the AR flag to 1.85.
OWA raws ripped at 720x480, leaving the 16 vertical pixels of black. The thing is it looks like they ripped from the shrunk 4.4 Gig iso by Zero-Raws posted on TT because it has more artifacting than Salendar's version.

If someone can post a non-shrunk ISO or find a better raw, please let me know!

Strawberry 100% OVA 00 Jump Festival 2004

Here's the first of the five OVA's. This one is still counted as a Strawberry 100% TV release.

There is a No Credit OP Version included as an alternate chapter edition.

Zalis will probably do a better write up later on the ReDone Subs blog.

Strawberry (Ichigo) 100% OVA 00 Jump Festival 2004

All future OVA's will be AC3 as they do not use PCM for the audio.

I apologize to whoever created the below script, I forget where I found it!

BTW, for those of you who want sharp subtitles while still maintaining the correct aspect ratio on the subtitles, try the below AviSynth script in ffdshow (you'll need avisynth installed, replace mon_width and mon_height with the dimensions of your monitor).

mon_width = 1920.
mon_height = 1080.
##############
tar_width = mon_width
tar_height = 1.0*mon_width/width*height
(tar_height > mon_height) ? Eval("""
tar_height = mon_height
tar_width = 1.0*mon_height/height*width
""") : last
lanczosresize(int(tar_width)/2*2, int(tar_height)/2*2)

Make sure to configure the ffdshow avisynth settings as shown in the picture:

Strawberry 100% 07

Strawberry (Ichigo) 100% 07

Some people seem a little confused on the audio, so I wanted to clarify that the audio on the DVD is 16 bit 48 Khz stereo uncompressed PCM (believe it or not, AC3 is NOT the only codec which can be used on DVD's). Using FLAC is in no way stupid from a technical standpoint (although you may not care enough about the audio to personally want it).
