Good news!

Relish has given me permission to use the scripts from their softsubs of AIR
for timing purposes, which makes the workload for this something
I can manage. I'll definitely be able to do these now!

OK I got the first episode downloaded.
The quality is amazing. It almost looks sharpened or pixelated when there's
no movement, but there is little to zero artifacting. The pixelated look may
be able to be fixed with filters... for that I'd have to mess around with encoding or find someone who knows how to encode. It's definitely higher quality than Relish's release and probably KAA's also...

btw the res on these raws is 1024x576 which is kind of surprising, since Bluray is 1280x720... but Air is an upscale anyway so I guess it doesn't matter.

AIR... maybe

So I'm in the process of downloading the AIR HDTV raws, which I'm assuming are from the new BLU-RAY release of AIR. If they are higher quality than Relish's HDTV release of AIR, I'll be interested in doing them.

I need input on a few things:
A. If you'd be interested in having this done.
B. If you'd be interested in helping (specifically with karaoke, timing, and possibly encoding).
C. Which subs I should use... I'd probably want to use Triad's or Koi's, obviously I'd have to get permission, but just which people would prefer.

Just leave a comment or reach me at maniacdc at gmail.com (I can't access gawab from my school for some
reason right now... grumble).
